# Card Rarities and Re-roll Balance

One of the cornerstones of our reroll system is balance. We want to ensure that collectors and casual players alike can enjoy the thrill of discovering new cards from an even playing ground. Here’s how we achieve this balance:

* **Common Cards:** Claimdrops, Liquidity Pool rerolls and purchases, and Launchpad Cards will all be common Card drops. This guarantees that every player has a strong foundation to build their collection.
* **Uncommon and Rare Cards:** These cards will only be attainable via rerolls on Jutsu World and can be drawn with relative ease, allowing players to progress and enhance their decks without facing insurmountable odds. The intention as the game releases is to ensure that a sufficiently rich gameplay can be had even without legendary and collector cards.
* **Legendary and Collector Cards:** These cards will only be attainable via rerolls on Jutsu World. Players should find that these are significantly rarer which ensures that these cards remain special and highly coveted, adding an element of prestige and challenge to the reroll experience.

Note that Jutsu Cards will eventually be enabled to be bought and sold on NFT marketplaces.

On average, it will take about 4000 cards or draws to complete a full collection. This design keeps rerolls engaging and ensures that completing a set is a noteworthy achievement. Drop rates will be balanced continuously, and we may explore pity mechanics (guaranteed drops) based on initial reroll stats.

Encouraging in-platform rerolls promotes project sustainability and allows us to build Jutsu World in the way we envision it. As such, $JUTSU purchases through an LP and rerolls outside the platform (e.g., via LP) will only produce common cards. This prevents swing traders or open market speculators from undermining the fun of collecting Jutsu Cards and negatively impacting gameplay.
